How to use the Berlin parking map
Start with a destination or move the map to the area you plan to visit. Zoom in until parking locations appear, then use the filter button to focus on the type that matters to you.
Plan with the map in three steps
- 1Search for a Berlin address or place, or use your current location if you choose to share it.
- 2Filter the displayed data by free, paid or other parking status.
- 3Select a marker or mapped area to read the available name, address, payment classification and other recorded details.
What the map colors mean
- Free
- The source data marks the location as not requiring a fee.
- Paid
- The source data marks a fee or paid interval for the location.
- Other or unknown
- The fee status is missing, unclear or does not fit the free/paid categories.
Where the parking information comes from
Parking locations and many of their attributes are based on OpenStreetMap contributor data. Parking Space Finder classifies the recorded fee value for the map filters and presents available location details in a consistent format. Community data can be incomplete or become outdated between updates.

- A marker does not mean that a space is currently empty; the web map has no live occupancy feed.
- A free classification reflects the recorded data, not a guarantee that every vehicle or time period is exempt from payment.
- Signs, temporary restrictions, permits, access rules and on-site instructions always take priority over the map.
- Check the entrance, operating hours and payment information at the location before leaving your vehicle.
